Process
Personal. Practical. Purposeful.
Part art, part science, we’ve spent decades honing our comprehensive planning and investment process, and it’s one of the key factors that allows us to bring a distinct perspective. We develop durable, flexible financial plans that are designed to evolve with you through life while providing a strong foundation for financial security. With our personalized approach, we seek to simplify the complex and offer practical, strategic guidance for your everyday life.
Part 1Let's Talk
Our goal in this phase is to learn more about what you’re looking to accomplish and share a high-level summary of our approach.
- 30-Minute Introductory Phone Call to understand what prompted your desire to connect and what you seek to achieve.
Part 2Information Gathering and SWOT Analysis
Here, we’ll seek to learn more about the various components of your financial life including resources, current and future goals, family, values, emotional risk tolerance, and any other items that are important to you and impact your balance sheet. With this information, we’ll conduct a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) to determine where you’re doing well, identify potential opportunities, and uncover where you might have ineffective tax strategies, fragmentation, or excessive risk.
- Intake Questionnaires to help us better understand the moving pieces of your financial life.
- Document Collection of statements, holdings, legal documentation, social security benefits, tax returns, insurance coverage, and anything else that may be pertinent to your financial life.
- Initial Plan draft to organize, review, and analyze your information within the context of current and future goals. We will utilize the quantitative and qualitative data you’ve provided us in order to make appropriate recommendations with respect to your financial plan and security.
- 60-90 Minute Meeting to discuss our initial findings and proposed recommendations, and to provide an honest assessment of our ability to add value. We’ll be glad to address any questions you may have and/or other items that are important to you.
Part 3Engagement
When it is mutually agreed there are means for a successful partnership, we’ll put together the plan to help you onboard into our practice. *For those we engage, we will provide our Relationship Services summary for a detailed and transparent outline of our advisory services.
- Onboarding Coordination to begin opening your new accounts and transferring existing assets. From start to finish, you will work closely with one of our team members to ensure a seamless transition.
- Collaboration with your accountant, estate attorney, insurance advisor, and/or other professionals who may be mutually important to our efforts and your ongoing success.
- 30-Minute Post-Onboarding Meeting to discuss next steps with respect to portfolio strategy and execution of your plan once your assets and cost basis have been transferred.
